Well done to our newly elected boys and girls for our school’s pupil voice. In Carr’s Glen we have our School Council, Digital Leaders, Anti-bullying Ambassadors, Eco-committee and our librarians. We look forward to see what all the groups get up to during the year.
A big thank you to all the boys and girls who applied for these posts and prepared amazing speeches, the classes had some very tough decisions.

Miss Rodgers’ P5 class were delighted to be invited to go on a trip to Alexandra Park for an Eco Education event, hosted by Small Steps. We got to do different activities such as planting bulbs and junk art, but our favourite thing was meeting all of the cool animals!

We had a busy assembly this morning, revealing our Pupil Voice winners for various roles around our school. Thank you to Dave, who also visited us to teach us about Jesus being a guide. A big well done to our Star Pupils! 👏🏼👏🏼

P1 have been loving the outdoor area and playing on the scooters, bikes, the dolls and prams! We've been brilliant at waiting our turn, sharing and working together.

We have been developing our mathematical language in P1 by using the sand and water tray. With the sand, we have been filling socks and discussing if they are heavy or light, long or short. With the water, we have been discussing if the container is full or empty.

As part of Year 2’s World Around Us topic on food, they have been exploring their favourite meals. After sharing and discussing their favourite dinners, they created them out of clay! The class made sushi, pizza, noodles, tacos and much more. Year 2 can’t wait to paint them next week! 🌮🍜🍕
