Thank you to everyone who helped make British Science Week happen and to all the people who came to visit and carry out workshops in our school: Nurse Culbert, Women’s Tech, Dr Rok, George Little from Belfast City Council, W5. I would also like to give a special thank you to the very generous and helpful members of our school community: All the parents who donated resources, all those who gave cash donations, Jacqueline Hill for her knowledge on seeds, Jo Shaw for our tyres, Mrs Fulton for helping to organise things, our caretaker Mr Agnew, Mrs Long and Mrs Hill for managing our plant pots, Tesco for donating half our compost and New Leaf Compost for donating the other half. Finally, well done to the teachers and all the boys and girls for taking part and working hard on planting loads of flowers and plants around the front of our school.
