Well, what a busy Science Week we've had!! Thank you to all the speakers and workshops who came to visit our school and work with all our classes. The pupils have been asking every day what is next, they have found their tasks engaging and I have been hearing them talking to each other in the corridors about the workshops that have taken place. I would also like to thank Carr's Glen staff for fitting all the extra activities into their already busy schedules and for taking the time to share their classes' experiences with our school community online. Thank you to all our parents for the donations received to go towards our Science Week and I wish you all a lovely weekend!! Mrs. Cleland

Year 4 have enjoyed learning about Grace Darling, as part of our ‘Famous People’ topic. We worked in pairs to research and record interesting facts about lighthouses and we designed our own lighthouses digitally, using Minecraft Education! It’s been a busy week!

Year 5 were very lucky to have a visit from Dale and his parrot Nala today for Science Week! We learnt lots about Nala and where she comes from and the children had lots of great questions to ask Dale. We got to have a closer look at her lovely pink and red feathers!
