This week Year 1 had the story Owl Babies. We made our own Owl Baby stories using our storyboards. We also made baby owls. They were so soft, with big eyes to help them see at night!

Today, Mrs Lyness’ Year 5s began working on a PowerPoint about the skeleton. They have to add a background, a title page, learn to play around with different texts and insert pictures. #computersuite #carrsglenrocks

Yesterday Year 6 had their first google meet with their partner class in Lithuania. They had some surprise visitors from Spain and the older boys and girls from the same school in Lithuania. The boys and girls listened so well and are looking forward to some more meet ups in the future. JDO Foundation

Miss Flannigan’s Year 1 class have had a busy time outside today. We have had a big pot of soup cooking in the mud kitchen. We made some beds to lie down on in our house after a lot of climbing, sliding and riding.

Year 6 had the honour of producing this wonderful front school display of children parachuting from the CGPS air aeroplane! We decided to do this display as it is linked with work that we are doing in our flight topic. A big thank you to the awesome Mr McCance for making the lettering, plane and putting up the class parachutists! Most importantly the children had fun producing this lovely display. Myself and Mr McCance will be flying away for the weekend now that the children have disembarked!
